I’ve always hated those “If you were going to a desert island and could only bring 3 (insert item type here) what would you bring?” questions. There are never enough items allowed and I inevitably end up wishing I could take at least one more. That said, based on personal experience, if I could only take three essential oils somewhere, Copaiba would probably be one of them. Doterra’s Copaiba has been extremely helpful for me because in my personal situation, it’s made a difference in many of my conditions.
Before I go on, let’s be clear, I am not suggesting that any product can treat, prevent or cure any illness. When I say I use Copaiba for a condition, it isn’t a promise that it will work for you.
All of that said, let’s get down to why I love Copaiba so much. Copaiba is great for supporting the nervous system, respiratory system, digestive system and immune system. I’ve often heard Copaiba likened to CBD because it works on one receptor CBD works on in the nervous system. What I love about it is that it will not show up on a “drug screen” because there is no THC. You won’t get a “high” but you may get the other effects on the nervous system.
Let’s talk about my personal uses of Copaiba. I use it most often to help balance my nervous system. When I started using it, I noticed a decrease in my CRPS pain. When I have a bad migraine, I often take a Copaiba Softgel or use the Copaiba Touch on my forehead, around the back of the head and on the neck and shoulders. With any of my pain, Copaiba has been a great topical oil to use.
When I’m anxious,, especially when I have a panic attack, Copaiba in any form has been helpful for me.. I’ve found that using the plain old Copaiba essential oil under the tongue works pretty quickly.
I could go on and on about why I love Copaiba, but it’s almost bedtime and I’m about to take a Copaiba softgel with my meds and other supplements and get some good sleep! If you’d like to see some of my other links, visit my LinkTree
