Essential oils and winter solstice a wonderful combination

A cozy indoor winter scene featuring a teddy bear seated on a comfortable armchair draped with a knitted blanket. A small table beside the chair holds a modern humidifier emitting steam, surrounded by lit candles and essential oil bottles. The background showcases a large window with a snowy outdoor view of pine trees and a cabin, framed by sheer curtains. The warm glow of the candles adds to the inviting and serene atmosphere.

In the Northern hemisphere, we recently celebrated the shortest day of the year, also known as the Winter solstice. As someone who mainly celebrates Christmas, I hadn’t given much thought to the effects, meaning or ways of honoring such an important day of the year.

That all changed when my friend Allison Hays gave an inspiring talk on how to use essential oils as part of a Winter Solstice ritual to lead up to the new year. It was truly inspirational and even though I’m posting this a few days after the Winter Solstice, you can definitely still do and benefit from the ritual! So without further preamble, I’ll share the link.
